bridal make Up
Becky is a fully trained make up artist, who has been fully trained by Benefit Cosmetics as well as having a full VTCT qualification in Occasion and Bridal Make up. This extensive experience means that she realises just how important a bride's makeup is - important that she feels 'a million dollars', that it feels weightless and comfortable and that the wedding day makeup lasts all day.
She specialise in creating a natural, radiant look - how most brides want to look and feel on their big day! To achieve this I use premium products by Benefit, Dior, Estee Lauder and many more to ensure each bride gets exactly what they are looking for.
On your wedding day I will help create a relaxing, calm, fun atmosphere - I have lots of experience of calming stressed out brides and mothers of brides on the wedding day!
I am a mobile make-up artist; this means that I will travel to you either at home or to your venue on your wedding day - so no trips out to a salon - just a nice relaxing experience!
I am also available for special occasion, prom and party makeup or comprehensive makeup lessons - perfect if you are getting married abroad and are nervous about doing your own makeup or if you are stuck in a 'makeup rut' and just want advice on choosing and applying new makeup.
Make Up Trial
The make up trail is usually carried out at my salon in Charminster, Bournemouth, but visits to your home are also possible.
I recommend a trial is normally done 4/6 weeks before the wedding day. By this time you should know how you are wearing your hair, what accessories you have and what your colour scheme is. These are all things that help us decide what style and colours of makeup we are going to use. If you wish to have a trial sooner than this then that's fine with me too.
A trial should be carried out on a bride as the products used on you must be tested to check that you have no sensitivities to them. The trial must be done in daylight as it enables you to see my work properly - artificial light is not ideal. I must work in daylight on your wedding day because if makeup works well in daylight then it will look good in any light and most importantly in your photographs.
Once we have had a chat about how you would like to look on the wedding day and decided on styles and colours I will apply your trial makeup using professional products and tricks of the trade that mean that your makeup will stay flawless and comfortable for hours! Any adjustments will be made until you are 100% happy. I will take photographs so you can see just how your makeup will look in your wedding photos. I will also make notes of products and techniques used on you. This enables me to reproduce the look exactly on your wedding day. At the time of the trial, we can make arrangements to purchase any of the make up products used to create your look – most brides like to purchase the lip stick colour, for touch ups during the day. Becky will buy products and you will be charged the exact cost of the product, a receipt will be provided.
Bride Trial - £20
Additional Party Trial (Mother of the Bride/Bridesmaids – on the same day as the Brides Trial) - £15 each
At the trial, to secure your wedding day date, a non refundable deposit of 50% of each person requiring wedding day makeup must be paid in advance. If any of the wedding day party cancels their makeup booking before the wedding day their 50% deposit will be lost.
Wedding Day Makeup
I will visit you at home or at your wedding venue on your wedding day and recreate the look achieved at the trial. Makeup is best applied after your hair is finished.
Bridal Make Up on the Big Day - £35
Additional Party Make Up on the Big Day - £20 each.
Additional Party Make Up who have not had a trial will be charged at £25, as it will take a little longer to perfect their look.

Bride - £50
Additional Party Member - £30
25p per mile Mileage will be charged for trail and wedding day if venues are outside the Bournemouth area.
Any tolls or parking charges either in hotels, car parks or parking meters will be added to the makeup fee.
In the event that I am unable to make the booking due to illness or any personal emergency, I will try to find you a replacement make-up artist that I would highly recommend. Cancellation by myself prior to your trial will result in your booking fee being refunded in full. Cancellation by me prior to your wedding day will result in a full refund of your wedding day deposit and trial costs.
In the event of an accident or severe illness, inclement weather conditions/act of god affect myself getting to you on the actual wedding day I will try and find you a replacement artist to look after your needs. I cannot be held responsible for any mechanical breakdowns, or for any delays caused by events beyond my control. In the event that I cannot find anyone else available that I would recommend, then the full extent of my liabilities’ would be to give you a full refund. Please Note. I reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund, if at any time during the trial any member of your bridal party becomes abusive or violent or displays any behaviour that I feel offensive
